Dr Sally Reid is a Specialist Gynaecologist who seeks to empower her patients with knowledge about their health. She is curious about people and enjoys engaging with her patients in regard to their treatment choices.
Special interests include:
- Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain and Ovarian cysts – including minimally invasive surgeries
- Menstrual Bleeding and Cervical Screening issues – including Colposcopy
- Children’s & Adolescent Gynaecology
- Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and Perimenopause/ Menopause
- Investigation and management of Subfertility and Recurrent Pregnancy Loss –including IVF, if more simple treatments are not effective
- Fertility preservation for those facing conditions that may lead to infertility
Sally grew up in Gawler and graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2003 on the Dean’s Merit List. She heads the Reproductive Endocrinology service at the Royal Adelaide Hospital – which provides the only free Ovulation Induction programme in the state.
Dr Reid also consults at the Embrace Fertility Clinic in Norwood and operates at Calvary, St Andrew’s and Burnside Hospitals. She is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Adelaide and enjoys teaching. Her other passions are music, being out in nature and fostering animals.
